While we offer many different types of classes at Iron Mountain Forge & Furniture, our most popular course offering is by far our Sip & Smash class.
During this 90-minute Introduction to Forging class, you will learn the basics of forging under the supervision of one of our skilled craftspeople, and will make your own forged hook, and bottle opener. Because there's no "template", each item you craft will be uniquely yours, and one of a kind.
After the class, however, is when the real fun begins!
You will have an opportunity to use your newly crafted bottle opener by participating in a beer tasting, sponsored by breweries all over Southern New England. In the past, we've partnered with Crooked Current Brewery, Foolproof Brewing, Whalers Brewing Company, and Bone Up Brewing Company.
Your cost of $85 per person covers all materials and training, as well as the beer tasting afterwards.
